6. The Levels (Mission 1)

Mission 1: Arkangelsk
Level 1: Dam
Weapons and/or gadgets: PP7 (silenced), DD44 Dostovei, KF7 Soviet, Sniper
Rifle, Covert Modem
Starting Inventory: PP7 (silenced), Covert Modem
Cheat: Paintball mode (Secret Agent, 2:40)
Objectives:
a: Neutralize all alarms (Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
b: Install covert modem (00 Agent)
c: Initialize data backup (00 Agent)
d: Bungee jump off platform (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
When you start out, hug the left wall and slowly peek around the corner.
When you can see the guard's head, use the crosshair to take him out. Pick
up his weapon, but don't switch. Hug the left wall again and hide behind
the guardhouse. If you did this right, the guard should just be coming down
the stairs. Shoot him, and then take out the one just beyond the guardhouse,
all the while staying behind it. Go up the stairs into the guardhouse, and
pick up the sniper rifle. Go to the railing, and zoom in on the guards with
R and then C-Up. Pop one in the head, and quickly get the other as he runs
towards you. Go into the tunnel, and then when you get to the corner, peek
around it with the sniper rifle. Take out the guards in the bunker and behind
the boxes. (You'll know where they are by their gunfire, don't worry, they
can't hurt you from there) But if anybody walks out in the open (there's
one guard to the left and one to the right), turn full attention to them,
as they can really cause damage. Once the area's cleared, pick up their weapons
and get the body armor in the guardhouse if you're on Agent mode. Switch
to your PP7 and open the door that the truck has parked near. Very quickly
circle around the truck to get to the next switch on the right and then go
to the left. When the door opens, shoot the guard on your left at all costs.
If you don't, he'll sound the alarm. Then wheel around and shoot the guard
patrolling the guardhouse. If you're lucky, he will have been up there the
whole time. If you're not, he'll have blasted a chunk out of you already.
Once that's done, go up to the wall the first guard was running to. You'll
see an alarm as described above. Shoot it with five shots from your sniper
rifle. If you want to get a DD44 Dostovei, (although I personally don't)
do a two seventy from the alarm and you'll see a door. Switch to your PP7
then get on the right side of it. Open it and quickly shoot the guard before
he can make a move. Sidestep to the left and quickly take out the guy with
the DD44. Go out the door and to your right will be a pile of boxes. Slip
in and there'll be a screen. Press start to get to your covert modem and
throw it on to the screen. If you failed, restart the mission. If you succeeded,
"Objective B: Completed" will appear on the screen. Go out of the area and
go to the locked chain link fence. Shoot the lock off, (this is the only
door in the game you have to do it with, all the other locked doors require
keys or keycards) Now switch to your sniper rifle. Walk halfway to the tower,
then take out the guard patrolling the top of it. Get his weapon, then open
the door on the bottom of the tower and destroy the alarm there. Repeat for
the next two towers. On the third tower, there will be body armor on Secret
Agent and Agent mode. When you've destroyed the last alarm, go down the stairs.
There will be no guards for a while, but frequently look through your sniper
rifle for enemies. Don't fight inside this place with anything else until
a certain place. Move through the corridor, always checking sides and moving
slowly. When you get to a door with an arrow on it and all the guards have
been dealt with, switch to your KF7. Open it, and take out the lone guard.
Go just behind the corner and quickly pop in, fire, and pop out again, face
towards the wall. They should run right into your trap and only one will
be left in the small room once the smoke's cleared. Take him out, then go
to the mainframe. Press B and a countdown sequence will begin. Now go back
through the corridor until you see an exit with the number three marked by
it. Go through it and up the stairs and out the door. You will see a little
outcropping with two stairs leading up to it. Simply walk off it and you're
done the level.
Mission 1: Arkangelsk
Level 2: Facility

Mine, Door Decoder
Starting Inventory: PP7 (silenced), Remote Mine
Cheat: Invincibility (00 Agent, 2:05)
Objectives:
a: Gain entry to laboratory (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
b: Contact double agent (Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
c: Rendezvous with 006 (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
d: Destroy tanks in bottling rooms (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
e: Minimize scientist casualties (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent) Note: Minimize
scientist casualties means if you kill three or more scientists, you will
fail the mission. This goes for all missions with scientists.
Note for this level. DO NOT USE THE KF7 SOVIET UNTIL A CERTAIN PLACE! Doing
otherwise is suicide. When you start the level, go through the air duct and
turn left. You will come to two openings, one with a grate, and one not with
a grate. Slowly edge forward, until a guard in the next bathroom stall is
in sight. Shoot him with two shots, (you need to shoot his hat off first)
then drop down into the stall. Open the door, then quickly move to the right
and take out the guard in the urinals. Open the door right in front of you,
and shoot the guard there. Open the door to the left of that, and take out
the guard there. Collect their weapons, (don't forget the one you got from
the air duct) and get out of the bathroom. Quickly move to the left and open
the door. If there were any more guards from back there, quietly take them
out. When you open the door, face the far wall, then sidestep to the stairs
and duck. Very quickly shoot the guard. Don't go down the stairs before he's
been dealt with, or you'll get your health drained very quickly. Open the
door to your left, then turn left again. There will be a guard with his back
to you, shoot him, and take his weapon and keycard. Switch to your mines,
then open the door and plant a mine on the box closest to the brown door.
Detonate the mine a safe distance away, and take out any guards that come
near. Once the area is secured, do a one eighty from the boxes you blew up
and there will be a door. Open it, and there will be two guards. Take them
out, then go back through the brown door. Activate the computer on your right
with B, then quickly get out of the room, and run down the hall to your left.
Take another left, and there will be another brown door. Open that, and then
go through a short hallway, and there will be an open doorway. Go through
it before it closes, and take out the two guards there. Now face the brown
door you came through so that anybody who comes through would have to turn
left to shoot you. Four guards will come through the door, and you should
have no problem taking them out from where you are. Now to your left there
will be another brown door. Open it so the guards at the other end can't
see you, and then quickly duck in and out so they just get a glimpse of you.
Close the door, and plant another mine on it. When the door opens, explode
the mine. All three guards should be dead. Now you will be in a big corridor.
Open the door on the left. Go up the stairs to the left, and if Dr. Doak
is there (he's the scientist with the brown beard and mustache), start talking
to him and leave. You'll get the door decoder you need from him regardless.
If he's not there, leave. Go through the next set of doors, and wait for
two guards patrolling the area. When they're gone, go to the right, and sidestep
so you're facing the wall. You'll be in perfect position to take out the
guard. Now face the wall you came down from and guards should come running.
Shoot them, then go through the door you faced while taking out the first
two guards. Kill the remaining guard(s), and get the body armor if you're
on Agent mode. By now you should have very little PP7 ammo left, but keep
on using it until you run out. Activate the computer on the left of where
you came in, and then run out the door and to the right. Take out the guard
using the sidestep trick again, and then you should see an open doorway.
Before it closes, go through it facing to the right. Take care of the guard
there, then go past the stairs and there will be two guards. Take them out.
If you still have PP7 ammo by now, forget that and switch to your KF7 Soviet.
Go up the stairs and feel free to turn into Rambo. Be careful because when
you get to the scientist area, there will be a passageway on your left. There
will probably be two guards running towards you. If not, go down the passageway
and they will be there with their backs toward you. Do I really need to tell
you what to do? Once that's done, go back towards the scientist area. Search
it for Dr. Doak using the instructions above. If he's there, disregard the
following paragraph and skip to the next. If he's not there, read the following
paragraph.
Go back to the room with two computer consoles. Activate the one on the right
instead of the left, and then go out through the left side this time. Open
the door there and go activate the other one. (Wait a little because the
one behind you has to close first) Then you will be a big room. Dr. Doak
should be close by. If he's not, go search the room, taking out any guards
along the way. Do NOT shoot any of the barrels. If you do you will die. Period.
If you want to know how, feel free to shoot them. Once you have the decoder
go back to the big scientist area.
Now go back to where you shot those guards in the back. (If you did) Switch
to your door decoder in your items, then activate it with Z in front of the
door. When the door opens, go through it and switch to your remote mines.
Initiate a conversation with 006, a.k.a. Alec Trevelyan, a.k.a. the black
guy walking around on the floor. Then plant the remote mines between the
big tanks in the order of the graph below:

Go to the door at the opposite side of the way you came down. Now wait until
the alarm goes off and Alec gets on his knees and starts shooting. Detonate
the mines and wait until you see "OBJECTIVE D: COMPLETED" on the screen.
(Or C if you're playing on Agent) Then simply open the door and walk through.
You're done.
Mission 1: Arkangelsk
Level 3: Runway
Weapons and/or gadgets: PP7 (silenced), KF7 Soviet, Klobb, Tank
Starting Inventory: PP7 (silenced)
Cheat: DK Mode (Agent, 5:00)
Objectives:
a: Find ignition key (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
b: Destroy heavy gun emplacements (00 Agent)
c: Destroy missile battery (Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
d: Escape in plane (Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent)
This is a pretty straightforward level. First, go to your right and into
the little alcove. Take out the guard there, and grab the timed mines. Go
back to where you were and get the grenades. Go out the big door, and you
will find yourself on a ramp. Look over the edge and you will see a guard.
Kill him and then go into a little shack to your left. Sidestep so you're
facing the right wall, then throw a grenade so it bounces into the part you
can't see. The two guards there should have been killed after it explodes.
Run in amongst the smoke and grab the key. Go out the shack and keep going
straight. Once you're past the building turn right and you'll see a tank.
Get on top of it and then press B to get in. Cycle forward your weapons until
you get the tank and then practice shooting it because the shell goes elsewhere
in proportion to the aimer. Once you've got the hang of it, go left to the
wide open area you haven't explored yet. You'll see a little building in
the distance with an odd looking thing on top. That's the missile battery.
Blast it with your tank, then turn left. There will probably be an automatic
gun firing at you. Those are the heavy gun emplacements. Blast it, then head
further down the runway. (Make sure you don't crunch the plane!) At the very
end, high up, on each side there is a gun. Shoot them then get out of the
tank. Run to the plane you should have seen earlier and then go around it.
There will be a door on the plane. Open it and fly away.
