We
have an old Gemini system we are trying to set up again, and cannot
find the power plug. The Radio Shack here doesn't seem to have one to
fit. Do you know the specifications needed for this plug? If not, any
suggestions on where
I could find them?
Thank
you for your time. - Joe
It
appears I may soon need to open a section for Ebay.com Handicaps.
If
ebay doesn’t work for you, I suggest you use Altavista to do a
search. I am not familiar with the system you refer to, so I can’t
really be of much help.

What
N64/SNES games would you recommend for a good, steady (but not impossible)
challenge? I've grown agitated with my current collection, none
of which took me more
than a week to beat.
Well,
it would have helped to see a handful of your favorite titles, but I’ll
give this a shot.
I
suggest, for longevity of the actual game:
Either
Zelda title
Ogre Battle 64
Spider Man
Rayman
2
Harvest Moon 64
Body Harvest (it’s not the best game, but it’s only $10 at most
Toys ‘R’ Us locations and it certainly takes a while to beat)
For
replayability:
Mario
Golf
Mario Tennis
Starcraft
64 (though you obviously have a PC and the PC version is far superior)
Excitebike 64
Wipeout 3
Star Wars Episode 1: Racer
Diddy Kong Racing
For
replayability, in the sense that there are many things to do and
unlock that aren’t required to complete the game:
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
TWINE
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Banjo-Kazooie or Tooie
Jet Force Gemini
Donkey Kong 64
I’d
also recommend you avoid:
Pokémon
Snap!
Any wrestling game

Hi,
Do
you know where I can find a map of the game publishing world
(something that
looks like the family tree of game publishers with all the mergers,
acquisitions etc..).
Your
help will be appreciated.
Jonathan
Pantanowitz
Sure...because
that won’t be sixty pages long. I don’t think anyone has ever
tried to put something like that together, and if they did, it would
take a few years. I have a couple of other things to do for the next
decade, so I don’t think we can help you.
Thanks
for your interest!

Dear
Sir or Madam, This is my first time in the site and I like it. I have
some question about the Buffy the vampire slayer for Playstation.
First when is it supposed to
be relesed.I've been checking fox interactive site and it says is
SPRING2001. My second
question is what will it be rated? I figure T (teen) since the
vampire turn into dust (nothing bloody about that). I could be wrong
and it could
be like soul Reaver and still be bloody and gory. If you could answer
my questions
I'd be grateful. If its to early to say thank you for your time.
Sincerly,
Patrick
Van Dyke
Well,
first of all, I should think that from my attitude it was perfectly
clear that I am a sir. Secondly, the spelling of my name is
most definitely the masculine version. The female is Adrienne.
Are we clear? I said; ARE WE CLEAR!!??
As
for Buffy, well, I can’t help you. So sorry, but all my other
sources were under the impression that Buffy would be out by the end
of 2000, so the spring release makes your guess as good as ours. It
will most likely have a teen rating, since it appears from all the
screenshots that the vamps just explode into dust. However, keep in
mind that the vampires have a pretty gory pastime themselves, so the
rating may go up a notch. Especially since the WB clearly states that
the show is intended for their older viewers, so the people behind the
game know exactly who their target audience is.

yours
truly Aaron and Ronald.
Well
Aaron, I’m sorry I didn’t get to you earlier, but I’ve been
working on some items for the site not related to the mailbag.
However, I encourage everyone who has these questions to....screw
this. You jagoffs know who you are and what website I’m going to
send you to, so that’s it. I’m not saying it anymore. I’m
starting a new section; The Gamefaqs.com handicapped. This is the
inaugural issue.
Next!

Welcome
to the Gamefaqs.com Handicapped section! This will transcend the
various sections of VGF, allowing everyone to view the shameful
incompetence purveyed by owners of all systems right here in the
Nintendo corner of our little world.
And
now, on to the twits!

First
of all, why in the world would you purchase anything with
Scooby-Doo on it? Thanks for telling me which system it’s for, that
will help you when you finally figure out what website you’re
supposed to be visiting. Note which section of the mailbag you have
fallen under.

it im playing the career mode and i can't figure out how the hell to
call my
run-in-partner in to help me when im gettin my ass beat can you
please help me?
thanks!
First
off, you deserve to be beaten like a bag of powdered eggs for playing
a wrestling game to begin with. Secondly, look where you are! Third,
do you understand the concept behind the ‘shift’ button Spanky? I
might have been able to keep you out of this shameful subset of the
mailbag if it weren’t for the fact that I absolutely refuse to give
any money to the idiocy that is ‘professional’ wrestling, and
therefore haven’t played any of these freakin’ games. But don’t
feel too bad, you’re surrounded by friends.

Hi.
I just bought a refurbed NES, and I got the ultimate game, Zelda! It's
been years since I've played this classic, and I can't remember where
several things are. Do you know where I can find a players guide or
walkthrough to this game? (assuming any still exist) Any help would be
much appreciated. Thanks.
Welcome
to my new favorite section! Does anyone bother reading previous
mailbag before submitting? Or perhaps trying a ***king search engine
once in a while? Is that so much to ask? Is it?!
All
right, you don’t seem quite as vapid as some of the other
submissions, but come on people, use the tools that are out there.

need to either get some inf o from you guys about D-@ on dream cast im
on the second
disc and i cand find the code words for the obzervatory or the pass
word to the pharmasy or if you could send me a walk through i would be
great thank
Did
you mean ‘D2’ genius? Normally I get to complain about the lack of
shift-key use, which is a crime of laziness you have also perpetrated,
but now I see that people who don’t know when to let it go are just
as god-awfully annoying. To round out your litany of shortcomings, you
actually expect me to assemble a walk-through and send it to
you? Ugh...I’ve seen too much.
