Goes Bomberman Crazy
today announced the release of three Bomberman games, two for the Game
Boy Advance and one for the GameCube. Bomberman Generation for
GameCube is an all-new, 3D adventure-based Bomberman title.
Majesco promises lush, cel-shaded 3D environments spanning five
distinct worlds. Of course, a four player multiplayer-mode is
included as well.
Max 2: Blue Advance and Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance are
sequels to last year's Bomberman Max, and allow the gamer to play as
either Bomberman (Blue version) or Max (Red version). Players
must once again battle Hige High bandits who's shrunk Bomberman and
Max to the size of an ant. Bomberman and Max must drop bombs,
complete puzzles, and destory the shrinking device to return
themselves to normal size. Players can also breed Charabom
characters, and then battle them using the Link Cable.
is no doubt that Bomberman is one of the legacy franchise properties
that not only helped establish the video game industry, but grow it as
well," said Ken Gold, Vice President of Marketing. "The
appeal of Bomberman is timeless and our new offerings are sure to
appeal to those fans who grew up playing the game, as well as gamers
new to the franchise."
