Happy New Year!  Ubisoft's New Deal

Ubisoft is welcoming 2004 with a bang.

During the first month of the New Year, Ubisoft has announced that those who buy Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be entitled to receive Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell as a free bonus.  This deal holds true for the GameCube, Playstation 2, Xbox, and PC.  There are no details on the exact stores that will be participating or the manner in which the bonus will be awarded.  Also, it doesn’t appear that those who have already bought Prince of Persia will be able to receive Splinter Cell.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is the newest installment to the adventure series, Prince of Persia.  It was released on November 18, 2003, and retails at $49.99.  Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell arrived on the Cube in April of this year.  The military action game came to Nintendo after a highly successful run on the Xbox.  It has a retail price of $29.99.
