Robot eyes are always cool.

Also, I want a tablet, because I believe it will somehow make my drawing ability improve drastically.

I meant it when I said I'd be finishing drawings more frequently.

As you might have guessed by the authoritative pose and piercing glare, this is another villain from my comic, The Challengers. He's called Zeus, and is the head of the government-run Helios Corporation, which develops technology such as robotics and weapons.

FYI, not all the villains in the comic are big powerful leaders of organizations. These are just the first two I've happened to draw.

I love how the lighting came out here, especially the shiny trim on his suit, and the chair was really fun to design.

Now THIS one is definitely more dynamic. Plus, I love corrupt corporate executives. And complete psychos for characters. <___<

Do you already have a story sorted out for the debut of your comic?

^Actually this is not true.

The chair also looks pretty similar to the Captain's chair, though more glowy.

I have the script for the first four chapters written, and I've planned out the pages/panels for the first chapter. I'm in the middle of drawing the first page right now.

Been pretty focused on working on my comic (I'll probably have a preview of one of the pages soon), but in the meantime, here's another awesome dinosaur:

Another quick drawing.

I guess I'm just going down the list of characters from my comic here. This is Surge, who has the generic but awesome power of electricity/plasma manipulation. As you can probably tell by the intense expression, he's the aggressive anti-hero, though I'm avoiding the stereotype of the rebellious character who's angry all the time. He tends to be rather wise and down-to-earth when not fighting.

I also did a version with red lightning, just to see what it looked like. I prefer the blue lightning since blue is arguably my favorite color, and blue is sort of the classic comic book lightning color (that or yellow), but I thought red would look a bit more unique, thought I'd just try it out. Let me know which one you guys like better.

Image

Also, Photoshop has been annoying with colors with my dual monitor setup and whatnot. The red lightning turned out looking more pink than it looked when I drew it on my tablet. Hopefully I can figure out how to fix it.

Only other time I can recall seeing red lightning is in Heroes (it's Ando's artificially-gained power).

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
