We went over them in my ornithology class years ago. This was just recently broadcasted.

Crows and ravens are pretty smart, and cool.

I mean, I can't say anything about them that Endless Jess didn't fully articulate. (NSFW for language and excessive awesomeness.)
Spoiler.

if they're so smart then why are they sitting outside my window on the telephone poles every Sunday morning saying the same word over and over.

...maybe you're the new prophet. Maybe this is how the Lamb chose to contact you.

Or maybe they just like your neighbourhood. You should befriend them. Whistle and wave your arms to get their attention, and then offer them croutons and cat treats and cashews and all. They'll love you, man. Gain their trust, and they'll bring you shiny things, and you'll get to pat them. Crows are rad homies to have.

Crows took out the bad guy from We're Back, so they got that goin' for 'em too.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Magpies are clever, too. I enjoy interacting with them, and I've never been swooped by any!! :D
She lives in the clouds and talks to the birds...

I owned pigeons for years. Would let them out every morning and close them up at night. They were cool. Crows are smart but they're dirty as all hell. We call wild pigeons street rats in the hobby around NY because they eat filth, they smell and they'll try and mate with your birds. Crows are on another level of filth. They'll dig into road kill, garbage you name it. They would harass my birds endlessly too because they knew there was squab in the coup in the springtime.

I took ornithology too in college and we went over crows - or corvids, more generally. Crows and ravens and such. They can solve puzzles.

Crows, Ravens, etc, are pretty curious little beings. It's always with a sense of disappointment that I have to shoo them away from rubbish I'm transporting between bins at work. I wish they would just hang out and I didn't have to do that, because they're so interesting otherwise and I feel for them scrounging to find food.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

^It comes back from the dead, just like The Crow.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
