Not gonna lie, my initial interest in L.A. Noire has lowered. At first, you know, I was like "Oh cool!" and then I slowly realized it's like any other "open world street game" at the time where you follow the main story but also can go around town completing some street mission and then get points from that too and go back to the main story and then hey there's another side mission thingy now back to the main story. Reminds me of Ultimate Spider-man in that aspect. It went from "Cool!" to "Oh this is it. This is what I'm going to be doing for a total of 12 hours. Let's solve this somewhat obvious mystery and then get distracted with the occasional madman in the street and then solve another somewhat obvious mystery."

So I've played more of the 'Regular Show' game, but I can't really be bothered to finish by Tuesday. It's not that it's bad-------------it simply isn't very good. Got things I'd rather be doing just now.

Oh yeah! I beat Pokemon Colosseum.

It's strange what time can do to something like this. When it came out it may have felt like a step backwards, but nowadays I think a challenging pokemon game like this could fill a niche if handled well.

Yup. List is same as old one. I may be on the verge of finishing L.A. Noire. I found it more interesting now so I'm going all the way.

Welp, I totally forgot about this. Guess we can start with Boo->Me->Scotty->Boo for now and slot anyone else in if they want it.

@ScottyMcGee How about Xenoblade?

'Dust: An Elysian Tale' is really good. The voice-acting is sometimes a little goofy, but the gameplay is top-tier. Feel like checking it out?

Works for me. I liked it when I played it before, but it's been long enough that I don't remember much of it.

(other than that I missed a power in the first boss room that wasn't required until nearly the last scene of the game and then had to backtrack the whole way to get it)

I don't think anyone's going to judge you for not finishing a 70 hour game in a month, at least.

Man, I'm just making an accidental catalog of everything that can go wrong with old PC games here. Dust turns out to be broken as well, with a really weird bug: dialogue has a random (high) chance of getting stuck, and since cutscenes can't be skipped, I just get stuck staring at idle animations until I force-close the game.

I'll check it on my laptop as well since I'm going to be traveling this month anyway, but not looking good for it so far.

Ohhh I suddenly remembered where I left off in Xenoblade.

I was about to fight Xord but kept getting whooped. So then I wandered around and did like 937593758378953 side quests.

Seems to work fine on my laptop. Unfortunately, it seems like I don't enjoy it much anymore. Probably not going to finish this month.
