Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
I hope I'm not too, too late. I don't mind whoever ends up picking for me.
Spoiler.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
I don't think we've ever had two people play the same game before, so Shantae: Risky's Revenge is looking pretty good.
That means the round ends 9/3.

So uh. I know it's late in the round but I JUST realized that I technically already "finished" Tekken Advance. I was playing it and then looked up the wiki to find any unlockables and I already unlocked Heihachi by finishing Arcade with everyone.
In the meantime, I'll play Mario Kart Super Circuit since that's the other GBA game I have on hand with me right now this moment. But if you want me to play another game, by all means, shoot.

In like Flynn for the next round, incidentally. Kids have gone home. Like what the hell else am I gonna do, stare at a wall and contemplate my own mortality or something?

I'm too busy at work. Hucking things onto shelves, and/or shooting them right in the UPC with my Duck Dodgers handheld laser ray.

Beat Risky's Revenge. Was sort of putting it off to play Doom WADs so don't mind me.
It's a short fun experience I wouldn't have an issue coming back to. Better than the first game definitely, if only because it doesn't take entire lives off you when you fall in a pit.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
I'm done as well. Said more about it in the reviews thread, but the tl;dr is that Ori is a very good game that reminded me too much of Celeste, which is a better and much less frustrating game.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
I wanted to compile this scoreboard for the longest time. Since I do virtually nothing at work, I found the time to go back to the other threads and do this.
A few numbers are dubious because some people here and there didn't respond at the end of the round, so I don't know if they finished or not.
The way I remember how scoring works is:
+1 for finishing your assigned game
-1 for not finishing your assigned game
+ 0.5 for finishing a game in your backlog that was not assigned
I also didn't count instances when people disliked the game so much they didn't finish it.
If that isn't how scoring works - well - oops.
Lastly, I'm unable to view the first thread created by @Thanous because it's part of the old forum and apparently I can't find it here in the new forum. Womp. If there's a way for us to fish it out of the netherworld, that'd be cool. Otherwise, all these numbers are compiled from everything except that first thread.
Here is our current standing sans that first thread (also not including this round since it's not done yet):
@New! Tazy Ten: 18 (Perfect score so far - never lost a round)
@I am nobody : 10
Scotty: 6.5
@Deku Tree : 1
@Thanous : 0 (?)
@capcommaster1881 : 0 (?)
@smol Kat : -1
@Marilink : -1
@Apollo the Just : -2
@Random User : -5
Loot: ?
Aaannnd taking up the rear:
@I REALLY HATE POKEMON!: -10
@Booyakasha : -17 (W00t!)

Neat! I do still plan on playing through FFIX, but my goal now is end of year (we'll see if I can make that, lmao!)
Do you know how much you mean to me
Why must you leave~?

Wayback machine has you covered. The thread is locked in that snapshot, so it should have everything.
Do I get half points for the ~431 other games I've finished since Thanous posted the original challenge?

I should definitely mention that I finished off Shantae: Risky's Revenge, in that case.

^^Everyone's done for the round then, right? How do we feel about getting started on the next one early?
