Reminder that the F-Zero GX soundtrack has an individual theme composed for every single character, and you only really hear them in the game’s racer gallery

GX is a landmark achievement for that. Most of the themes are pretty moderate sized loops but they're all so diverse in production and style.

So, I'm going to start by saying I have never actually played this game, but for some reason I have the OST. (I do that sometimes; I'm a huge nerd who knows how to find free music, so.) Well. Anyway. Here's one of my favorite tracks:

mess with the NOOT you get a DOOT!

the toy story 2 game has some pretty good music in general but i really appreciate this style of chill ambient music that you'd hear in this era of gaming

^ You know, it seems obvious in retrospect, but playing the game I never realized Krunk was voiced by Dan Castellaneta.

I think this is a pretty good "****'s about to go down" theme.

Pokemon Trading Card Game actually did get a sequel, but it was Japan-only.

Came across this song again while looking for music for the VGM Arena I just put up, and it didn't really fit my category, but I needed to post it somewhere because it owns.

Also, it had this baller remix made for SSB Brawl, which is simply excellent

I honestly love the entire Tetris Attack OST. I have a playlist and it's one of my most listened-to.

A personal favorite:

Takes a little bit to build up:

This is actually somehow not a final boss theme, but all the bosses in EOIV are pretty terrifying, so it still fits the fight.

Sonic Advance 3 has some really good music, but since it's in a series known for good music and is on the Game Boy Advance, it tends to get buried. It's a shame as there are some songs that really push the system to its limits.

Cyber Track Act 1's my favorite but there are quite a few worth hearing on the soundtrack.
